Brandon L. Comer

Brandon L. Comer Managing Partner, Comer Capital Group / CEO, CCG Asset Management

Brandon L. Comer serves as managing partner of Comer Capital Group, LLC, a corporate and municipal advisory firm. He has made a commitment to assisting entities increase their fiscal position and gain cost effective access to the capital markets and the firm has represented over 40 issuers across the country, serving as FA on over $2.5 billion in debt transactions since 2012. Brandon also currently serves as CEO of CCG Asset Management, LLC, an affiliate SEC registered investment advisory firm that manages and invests operating funds and bond proceeds for municipalities and corporations.

Brandon holds a master’s degree in finance (extension studies) from Harvard University. He began his undergraduate studies in finance at Xavier University of Louisiana and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mississippi College.

In his efforts to further serve his community, Brandon recently co-founded and serves as COO of the National Black Bank Foundation, a nonprofit organization, whose mission is to provide legal, regulatory, and operational assistance to black banks while educating the public about the essential role these community anchors play. The Foundation’s investment unit, the Black Bank Fund will invest black banks through preferred stock purchases resulting in Tier 1 capital for the banks.

Brandon sits on the Advisory Boards of Mississippi College’s School of Business as well as Carver Development CDE (Carver State Bank). He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Central Mississippi Planning and Development District and the Urban League of Northwest Indiana. He is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the Harvard Alumni Association. Brandon is a Fellow of the 2021 class of the Aspen Institute Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
